What Made Me Start My Business

Why did I start a business?

Ever since I was little, I knew that I dreamed to run my own business and to become my own boss, I was just never sure on how. The number of business plans I used to draw up, I used to make all of my family sit on the sofa whilst I pitched potential business ideas to them – there were quite a few! A mini family version of Dragons Den.

There are no two ways about it, I have also always wanted the finer things in life. I have always strived for a passive income, being able to make money in my sleep was my dream and I’ve cracked it.

I just hadn’t realised that my passion laid with property, although looking back now since a young age I remember wanting to go and visit open house viewings and whenever new estates and developments were being built in my local area, I would ask my parents to take me to look around (kinda weird I know). If I had a pound for every hour I used (and still do) look on Zoopla and Rightmove I would already be a millionaire. It was a hobby of mine after school each day to check the property market. I used to be obsessed with looking at mansions in Sandbanks to be precise.

After discovering rent to rent, it just clicked and felt right. I didn’t have to think twice, no matter how many people were telling me, “it’s too risky” or “you’ll lose all of your money” I still did it anyway and it turned out just fine. You’ve just got to do you!

Maybe you are looking to try and find your thing? Everyone’s thing and everyone’s reason why will be different, and I am more than happy to help in any way that I can. Not that I am an expert, but I know how important it is to have a little guidance and just someone to talk to. This big old world can be a pretty scary and daunting place at times, and everyone will find their thing at different times, there is no need to rush or feel pressured.

I am sure that I will end up repeating this an awful lot, but I truly do believe that you can achieve anything you like, you’ve just got to go out there and get it.

Please remember, don’t compare your life to others, there’s no comparison between the sun and the moon, they both shine when it’s their time.

Xx
